Those of you with keen eyes may have noticed that the watermark on this photograph reads 2017. That's because it is another of those photographs that kind of fell through the cracks while waiting to be published on the page. It was taken back in September 2016, was going to be used as a 'warm weather' reminder for a cold day, but the winter of 2016-2017 wasn't that cold. Then it was going to be a Summer of 2017 photograph, but then fell victim to the summer concert and fireworks photographs. So, here we are on July 1st, 2018, and it finally gets a moment to shine. The photograph still fits with the date thanks to the Canadian flag that his flying overhead, this being Canada Day after all. The photograph was taken in the Old Port of Montreal on a much more comfortable day that the 32degree Celsius (42 with the humidity) day that awaits. It was taken at f/7.1, 1/3200sec, ISO 400 at 30mm. Have a Happy Canada Day, and try to stay cool out there.
