We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert
photographs up here on The Old Blog. I suppose we will catch up at some
point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs

link. A couple of legendary punk rock bands took over the Centre Bell
in Montreal for a night that electrified everyone who had the good
fortune of being there. The band charged with opening the evening was
none other than Bad Religion. You know it is going to be an awesome night when a headliner worthy band is in the opening slot. These punk
rock veterans still remain a force on stage and
waste little time reminding us
all. Opening with “Recipe For Hate”, got
the crowd up and hopping right away. The
jumping and raised fists continued with “Them And Us” as it became increasingly
difficult to get some clear shots of the band from our outpost at the
soundboard. Unbothered
by my obstructed view, the fans continued to party through the entire set. Singer Greg Graffin sounded terrific and the
band played everything sharp and loud.
Each song had a little video that played on the giant screen behind the
band that really added to the presentation.
From the opening song all the way through to “American Jesus”, Bad Religion showed that there is still a lot of power under their hood. What
a great way to open the evening. It's been quite a while since the
last time we had a new Bad Religion album, so we're left wondering if
there will be something new. Even if there isn't, with 17 albums to
their name, there is a huge wealth of music for fans to dig in to. All
of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different
shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of
