We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert
photographs up here on The Old Blog. I suppose we will catch up at some
point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs
can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media,
which you can do by following the link. If you'd like an even more direct
route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using
the following
link. The Théâtre Beanfield in Montreal played host to a triple threat of rock the other week. And smack in the middle of a tasty rock sandwich was 10 Years. The Tennessee natives took a moment to thank us for the warm
weather. Hopefully they got out of town
before the ice storm that was due to hit the next day. 10 Years opened with "Russian Roulette" and the crowd quickly roared to life. “Novacaine”
followed shortly afterwards. It might have
been a welcome drug for some after being pummeled by their sound. Their set-list consisted of a nice mix of
hits, as well as an outstanding new song.
It was called Heart-Shaped Box.
“We think it’s going to be a big hit!”, proclaimed singer Jesse Hasek. It wasn't on 10 Years' most recent release, which was 2024's Inner Darkness, but maybe it will find itself on a future release. In on the joke, the crowd laughed along. But it truly was a terrific cover of the
great Nirvana song. 10 Years finished up
with “Shoot It Out” before leaving the stage to allow the crowd to catch their
collective breath. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of 10 Years while they performed on the Théâtre Beanfield stage.

If you would like to find out more about 10 Years and their music, you can do so by following the link to their website. If you would like to see the photographs that I took of James & The Cold Gun and Mammoth, who also performed that night, you can do so by following the respective links. 10 Years have been rocking the World for more than 20 years now, and don't look like they are slowing down at all. Don't you dare miss if when 10 Years performs in a town near you.
