Long time readers of The Old Blog are well aware of my disdain for the heat and humidity of Summer. I can't stand it. Have always hated it and will probably continue to do so. June 1st is always what I call the most depressing day of the year. It is the first of the 92 days that comprise June, July and August. Traditionally the warmest months of the year. I literally count down the days until September 1st. Knowing that by then, most of the heat and humidity that I hate will have passed. So, to remind me of more comfortable times, here is a little blast of Winter. I grant you that this may not end up being my most popular post. I admit that it has been a very long Winter. Some of you may be looking forward to the heat. For those of you who feel that way, don't worry. I won't hold your wrong opinion against you.
