They say that you appreciate more the things that you have to work for. Well, I worked pretty hard to get these photographs of The Pretty Reckless. Upon arriving at the Centre Bell, there was a heart chilling moment when my name didn't appear on the list of accredited photographers for the night. I ended up having to race across the building to where my pass was waiting for me at will call. It was then a mad race back to the media entrance and an unescorted jog through the bowels of the Centre Bell with security guards pointing they way (they had been advised of my plight), as I tried to find my way back to the other photographers who had already made their way to the pit. I was a winded and sweaty mess, but this was not a show that I was willing to let slip between my fingers. The Pretty Reckless were touring in support of the latest album, Death By Rock And Roll, which was released early last year. I really enjoyed it and it got played very much while I was taking The Heir Apparent on her morning and afternoon walks. Not to take anything away from the headliners, it was without a doubt them who I was most wanting to see. The first photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/320sec, ISO 1600 at 24mm. Here are several more photographs that I took of their performance.
