Maxime Landry In Greenfield Park

We've rounded the curve from July into August as Summer is about to ride off into the sunset.  Before it does though, there are still a few concerts to be attended.  As usual, these are put together and organized by the Ville de Longueuil and Longueuil est Culture.  This week it was Maxime Landry who took the stage in Greenfield Park.  As with the show by Geneviève Leclerc last week, photos can be seen by following the link, there was a huge crowd that filled out the park. Maxime Landry has been a top name on the Québec entertainment scene since winning the Star Académie singing competition back in 2009.  Since then, there have been six albums, the most recent of which, Jolene & The Gambler, will be released in a few weeks.  Joining him on stage for a few songs was local drag legend Rita Baga.  Together, the provided terrific show for all who took part and had The Heir Apparent once again dancing the night away with me near the stage as I took some photographs.  Speaking of which, the first photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/400sec, ISO 1600 at 70mm.  Here are several more photographs of the performance.
