Going out to a 'spectacle', is rapidly becoming The Heir Apparent's favourite activity. Luckily My Lovely Assistant is not only good enough to put up with our musical outings, but has also begun to plan them. As the Summer concert series put on by the Ville de Longueuil and Longueuil est Culture begins to wind towards it's end, My Lovely Assistant noticed that there would be a concert by Nicolas Gémus that would be taking place at Parc Michel-Chartrand. We packed up our gear and head out the door for some Sunday music. Which brought us to Nicolas Gémus. A Sunday morning show at 11:00AM is not the most glamorous position for a musician to find themselves in, but he and his band put on a show for the several hundred people who decided to skip church and instead attended a few hours of music worship instead. With a second album, self-titled, album released earlier this year, the young man is already building up a nice career for himself. One that will allow him to sleep in later for the many Sundays in his future. The first photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/800sec, ISO 800 at 63mm. Here are several more photographs of his performance.
