All Them Witches At Théâtre Beanfield

We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here on The Old Blog.  I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do by following the link.  If you'd like an even more direct route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the following link.  I’ve been sitting at the keyboard looking at a blank page, trying to think of the right words to write.  I could try to pretend, and be something I’m not, or I can be honest.  Honesty is the best policy.  Being a rock photographer for V13 Media allows me the opportunity to check out some shows by my favourite artists.  It also allows me the opportunity to stretch out my wings a little bit and check out some bands that I don’t know.  Last month, I took advantage of the opportunity given to me to check out a band that I knew very little about.  I was obviously in the minority at Montreal’s Théâtre Beanfield as the place was packed.  They were there to take in the show by Nashville’s own All Them Witches.  The minutes to catch out collective breath after our opening band, King Buffalo, were much needed an appreciated.  Especially since out headliners were out to batter us as well.  All Them Witches left the comfort of Nashville for a cold December night in Montreal.  There was a storm coming in the forecast, but nothing like the audio rumble that they were about to create inside.  Opening with “Bulls”, All Them Witches became those bulls as they charged through the china shop that was the crowd.  The attack continued with the heavy one-two punch of “Satine & Iron Jaw” and “Enemy Of My Enemy”.  Both songs come from their most recent album, Nothing As The Ideal.  The show came to an end with the epic “The Death Of Coyote Woman”.  After a short break the holidays, All Them Witches were getting back on the road and continuing the tour.  Honesty truly is the best policy.  I didn’t know what I was walking in to when the evening began.  However, I honestly had one heck of a great night.  I was really glad to have taken the chance to go out and cover this show.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using several different ISO settings, shutter speeds and focal lengths.  Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of All Them Witches while they performed on the Théâtre Beanfield stage.

If you would like to find out more about All Them Witches and their music, you can do so by following the link to their website.  If you would like to see the photographs that I took of King Buffalo, who performed earlier in the evening, you can do so by following the link.  A big thank you goes out to All ThemWitches management team at Q Prime, Evenko and Christopher Gonda at V13 Media for getting me a pass to photograph the concert.  As always, it is very much appreciated.  If you’re a fan of All Them Witches, or someone like me who is late to the party, this is a show that you do not want to miss.  Don’t you dare miss it when All Them Witches arrives in a town near you.
