Another Tree, Same Ice

At the risk of repeating myself, here is another shot of the tree in the back yard of the Head Office that was covered in ice crystals back on Boxing Day.  It was a great morning, and everything looked so nice that the tree merited a few more shots.  There were a few clouds still in the sky that morning, but while outside, I waited for a little break in the coverage to get a nice blue background to set the pure white branches against.  The blue of the sky was just as striking as the white of the frozen branches.  The photograph was taken at f/6.3, 1/320sec, ISO 100 at 70mm.  The weather forecast is calling for some more cold weather in the coming days, so who knows, maybe there will be a little bit more ice fog and winter crystals in my future.  I for one won't be complaining.
