Andie Therio At Théâtre Corona

The cowboy hats, blue jeans and leather boots were out in full force at the Théâtre Corona this past Thursday night as a night of Country music was tap before a sold out crowd that was ready to boot, scoot and boogie.  Opening the festivities was Andie Therio, a young Country star in the making, who has been writing her own songs since getting her first guitar at the age of 13.  The call to make music and perform was something she discovered even earlier than that, which is always something that I have admired when I hear because at my advanced age, I'm still waiting to hear such a defining call myself.  Performing as a trio on stage, you could see that she was very comfortable up there and very happy to perform her songs for us.  She only played a very short set, but it was more than enough for all who were there to tell that they were witnessing the live performance of someone who would be gracing stages for a good long time.  As an added bonus, while doing a little research I also discovered that she is a bit of  a photographer, so how could I help but not to root for her to succeed.  Her very first EP, She's Good, was released back in 2022, and sounds like a great jumping off point for what will hopefully be a nice long career.  The first photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/400sec, ISO 320 at 45mm and the second photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/400sec, ISO 3200 at 35mm.  Here are several more photographs that I took of her performance.

If you'd like to find out more about Andie Therio and her music, you can do so by following the link to her website.  It was a busy night of music, and you can see the photographs that I took of Francis Degrandpré by following this link, as well as a little bit of bonus coverage with all of the other special guests who performed by following this link.  It always makes me happy to see a young person deciding to follow her dreams.  Here's hoping that hers take her as far as she wants to go.
