Flaming Feline

Things have been rocking here at The Old Blog, but time has still been made for calmer family time.  Halloween just passed us by and My Lovely Assistant went above and beyond with her decorations.  The past few years she has sculpted some nice jack-o-lanterns for us, and this year was no exception.  She created a nice black cat that helped ward off any evil spirits that may have been lurking while we were out helping The Heir Apparent fill her bag with goodies.  Once Halloween was over, we brought it inside where I snapped a few photographs.  We put a couple of tealight candles inside to make it nice and bright and took my photograph at f/3.2, 1/80sec, ISO 3200 at 70mm.  I then bumped up the light a bit in Photoshop to make it look a little more otherworldly.  Hopefully you all had a great Halloween and ended up with all your favourite goodies.
