Queen Flash At Longueuil Ribfest

The annual Longueuil Ribfest came to a royal end after three nights of hot ribs and rocking tunes as one of the greatest Queen cover bands out there, Queen Flash, took the stage to one of the largest crowds that the festival has ever seen.  Queen Flash's Freddie Mercury extraordinaire, Johnny Zatylny, helped close the festival last year by joining the local Roots Band on stage, but this year he brought his band, and wardrobe, with him for a show the likes of with the community has never seen.  Considered to be one of the top Freddie Mercury impersonators on the planet, Johnny Zatylny not only looks the part with his collection of colourful costumes, but most importantly, he also sounds the part, making the songs sound like they did when Queen ruled the musical kingdom.  I, obviously, never had the opportunity to photograph Queen, and what an amazing experience that would have been, but this experience photographing Queen Flash felt like it was pretty close.  A greatest hits selection of songs from Queen's catalogue was played for the very appreciative Longueuil Ribfest fans who turned out in huge numbers to take in the show.  Queen Flash ended the night by bringing The Roots Band on stage with them, as well as several of the wonderful staff, family members and volunteers who surrounded the head honcho of the unforgettable weekend, Pennie Berrworth, for a rousing rendition of 'We Are The Champions'. who worked so hard over three days to make the event one that will be remembered in the community for a good many years to come.  As with up update of performance by The Roots Band, we'll save myself a little bit of time and not write in all of the photograph stats here as this is a rather larger update.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 with varying shutter speeds and ISO's ranging from 400 to 3200.  With that in mind, crank up your favourite Queen album, grab some more salty snacks and cold beverages and get comfy from some photographs of Queen Flash from their terrific performance at the Longueuil Ribfest.
