One of the really fun aspects of the annual Longueuil Ribfest is that a good majority of the talent comes from the surrounding area. Such is the case with this vocal group with its origins in Greenfield Park, The Intonations. These fine folks are terrific performers. They get up on the stage every year and tear down the stage with their versions of several classic and modern songs. For me, granted my being a non-musician, they embody what playing music is all about. That would be having a great time. From first to final note, all three of our singer and their backing band were all smiles as they entertained their fellow town folk. And the crowd returned that love as well supporting the fellow members of their community. Who could ask for a better moment to share. The first photograph was taken f/3.2, 1/1000sec, ISO 1600 at 24mm. Here are several more photographs of The Intonations while they were performing at the Longueuil Ribfest.

If you'd like to find out more about The Intonations and their music feel free to stop them and ask for yourself if you see them walking the streets of Greenfield Park. Be sure to tell them how great they were while you're at it. If you would like to see the photographs that I took of Old Habits, Kalan, The Derek Falls Band, Jeff Smallwood & The Roots Band, Leadville Union and Queen Flash, who also performed that night, you can do so by following the links. A big thank you to Pennie Berrworth and Mark Christiano once more for allowing me to photograph the Longueuil Ribfest concerts. It is always very much appreciated. If you want to see The Intonations perform, you'll probably have to come to the Longueuil Ribfest again next year as I think it is the only time they perform all year. Make the trip, enjoy the music and eat some ribs while you're at it.
