I found myself back on the gridiron Sunday afternoon as the Champlain Cavaliers, my former school from so many years ago, took on the Shawinigan Électriks. Since I live so close to campus, I like to head back to watch a game or two during the season, grabbing some photographs as I walk the sidelines. The Cavaliers are having an up and down season. They're currently in 4th place in their division with a record of three wins and three loses, but they've been dominant in those three victories, scoring 141 points in those three games. They ended up on the winning side of the scoreboard on Sunday, while I ended up on the losing end as someone stole my umbrella from end zone fence it was leaning on. What is society coming to? The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/2000sec, ISO 400 at 200mm and the second photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/2500sec, ISO 400 at 200mm. Here are some more photographs of the action.

It's always fun to photograph some sports. Football especially as there is always something happening every play and lots of impact. There's still another home game left this season so we'll see if I can get out to the field one more time. Though this time, my new umbrella will be staying at home.
