Of all the Festival Classica artists who are appearing on the page, one is a familiar face from last year. I was able to photograph Gino Quilico at the festival last year and was very happy to learn that he would be performing outside once again in 2019. I could repeat all of his accomplishments, but I'd much rather direct you to photographs from last year since I've never been above linking to my own work. The consummate pro, I almost had the feeling while I was shooting the performance that he was actively looking to make eye contact with my lens while singing. As a photographer, who could ask for more. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/250sec, ISO 1600 at 142mm. Here are several more photographs I took of the performance.
f/2.8, 1/250sec, ISO 1600 at 142mm

The master still stands head and shoulders above all. To find out more about Gino Quilico, feel free to visit his website at the following link.
