Those of you who were around yesterday, you saw a whole bunch of updates from my time at Festival Classica. Those photographs came from a show called Opérette En Folie. It was described as a zany evening of opera that will bring a festive atmosphere to downtown Saint-Lambert. That certainly was the case. There was an ensemble cast on the evening, which is why I saved this group update for the end. If you're reading this update first, I'll now post some links up so you can visit the photographs that I took of the solo performances. Taking part in the performance were Florence Bourget, Antonio Figueroa, Magali Simard-Galdès, Marie-Josée Lord, Alexandre Da Costa, Natalie Choquette and Gino Quilico. By visiting those links, you'll also find links to their respective web pages so that you can find out a little bit more about the artists as well. If you're a fan of opera, you probably already know most of these performers, but if not, take the time to find out about them. You might find a form of entertainment that you enjoy. As for this batch, the first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/1000sec, ISO 1600 at 150mm and the second photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/250sec, ISO 1600 at 168mm. Here are several more photographs that I took of the performances.

What a terrific evening. I ended up grabbing a spot near the corner of the stage which gave me a great view. My only regret was that I couldn't get any clear shots of the musicians because they were just important as the singers. Thanks to the performers for noticing that I was there and looking over my way a few times during the show. It was a great pleasure.
