Montreal's Théâtre L'Olympia was home to a musical send-off back on the 10th. Up first was veteran Minnesota rockers, Harvest. I went in to the show not knowing a thing about the band, but I got a quick education in how awesome they are live on stage. Front man Dave Walker stalked the stage, waiting to verbally pounce while the band kept the volume at 11. They’ve been around for 30 years themselves, but, as the old saying goes, it’s never too late to make a good first impression. Colour me impressed. I feel bad about having such a short review of the show, but as I mentioned, despite their long career, Harvest are very new to me. The photographs were all taken at f/3.2 while using various shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are several more photographs of Harvest performing on the Théâtre L'Olympia stage.
You can find out more about Harvest and their music by following the link to their Facebook page. You can also find the photographs I took of Agnostic Front, Obituary and Sepultura by following the links to the respective updates. I feel bad about writing such a small review, but as I said, this was my very first Harvest experience. I guess I can add that I hope it won't be my last. Be sure to check them out if they're performing near you.
