On a cold windy November evening, the thing you want to find the most is a source of warmth. Something to stoke the embers and help shake off the Autumn blahs. As humans, we’re drawn to heat. On this evening, there was no hotter event to be found than down at Le Studio TD. JJWilde was in town as part of her ‘All My Vices’ tour and her voice was about to light a fire in us all. This tour is in support of her second full length album, ‘Vices’, which was released back in September. The album is another example of her strong songwriting and spectacular voice. Raspy and raw, JJ Wilde’s voice is her secret weapon. Though by now, it really shouldn’t be a secret at all. Powerful enough to pin you to the back wall of the building, while also soft and soulful, inviting you and drawing you in closer. She made the decision to go all in on her music career six years ago, and we’re all the best for it. Back in 2019, JJ Wilde was that same discovery. Hearing her song ‘The Rush’ on the radio is a powerful experience, but it pales in comparison to hearing it, and her other songs, live. Her voice drew me in, and to this day, keeps pulling me back to her songs. JJ Wilde’s ever expanding catalogue of great songs, combined with top level live performances brought me and a room full of others out on a cold November night. We were searching for a little warmth and JJ Wilde set the room ablaze. Her flame will not be dying anytime soon. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO Settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of JJ Wilde while she performed on the Le Studio TD stage.
If you would like to find out more about JJ Wilde and her music, you can do so by following the link to her webpage. If you would like to see the photographs that I took of Fionn, who performed earlier in the evening, you can do so by following the link. Much thanks to Charlotte Thompson and Shelby Burnell of Red Umbrella PR as well as Christopher Gonda of V13 Media for getting me a pass to shoot the show. As always, it is very much appreciated. JJ Wilde sounds great on her records, but takes the performance to another level when she is live on stage. You really do need to hear her in concert, it's an experience that will not be forgotten. The ‘All My Vices’ tour continues has come to an end, but there will certainly be others down the road. Be sure to be there next time JJ Wilde visits your town.
