Another night of Country music down at the Théâtre Beanfield in Montreal got off to a great start with a solo set from Zach John King. I'm used to seeing a stage full of people running and jumping around in all directions, so I was thrown for a momentary loop seeing just one person up there. Alone on the stage with just his guitar, Zach John King laid bare his music and his soul. The best Country songs, or any songs for that matter, are the ones that come from the heart. Zach John King’s songs are full of heart as he sings about past life experiences. A few songs in to his set and the crowd was swaying and totally focused on the performer on the stage before them. Totally immersed in the songs and hanging on every note and lyric. He was obviously having a great time on stage, despite dealing with the very cold weather of the day. Freezing temperatures that a native of Georgia didn't experience very often., though he did mention that he enjoyed his first ever poutine. While it isn't my first snack of choice, it certainly does have a big following in these parts. Speaking of large followings, Zach John King already had a large Tik Tok following where he would post demos of his songs, and just released his very first EP, Wanna Be Cowboy, back in May of this year. It's only a matter of time until a full album release happens, and when it does, I'm sure that it will be terrific. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Zach John King while he performed on the Théâtre Beanfield stage.
If you would like to find out more about Zach John King and his music, you can do so by following the link to his website. If you would like to see the photographs that I took of Conner Smith, who performed later that night, you can do so by following the link. Zach John King gave the consummate Country performance. No need to hide behind any gimmicks, just the man and his guitar. Be sure to check him out if he is performing near you.
