As quickly as 80cm's of snow fell on the city a few weeks ago, it has all disappeared. The temperature has been hovering near the 20 Celsius mark here for the last couple of days and all of the fluffy white stuff that fell from the sky is gone. Now, with my years of experience I know better than to declare Winter to be over, even if the calendar says that we are now officially in Spring. We've had snow storms well in to April in the past so I won't be putting the shovels away just yet. But, it is true that Spring is on the way, and that means our cherry tree will soon be full of its bright red budding leaves. The photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/320sec, ISO 100 at 70mm. Even though Spring does lead to Summer, it still remains the most magical of seasons. Don't forget to stroll around outside to see everything wake from a long Winters nap.
