One of the most beautiful things to my eye is a late Winter, early Spring sky. Everything just seems to be much more crisp compared to the lazy hazy dullness of Summer. It is especially more visible early in the morning as the sun comes up and then later in the afternoon as it set. The coupling of some thawing tall grass and a setting sun makes for something nice to shoot and see. There was a nice golden glow against the grass, which made all of the curves and swirls of the grass stand out a little more. The photograph was taken at f/16, 1/250sec, ISO 100 at 70mm. I underexposed the photograph in order to better bring out the blue of the sky, but mostly to get more of the golden goodness of the setting sun. It really stands out against the strands of the tall grass at the bottom of the photograph. The kind of view you just don't get in the Summer. We're still in that period at the moment, so go out and enjoy the early morning and early evening sights.
