We continue our coverage of the big Country music party at the Centre Bell the other night with our second performer of the evening, Scott McCreery. His rise to fame came as the Season 10 winner of
American Idol and his has been riding that wave ever since. This photographer was a
little disappointed as he remained rather far from us on the main stage rather
than strolling over to the U-shaped extension.
However, he was there to entertain the several thousand fans in
attendance. The joy and excitement that
I could hear coming from them more than drowned out the frustrated grumbles of
a handful of photographers. Scott McCreery opened
his set with ‘You Time’, the hit single from his ‘Same Truck’ album of
2021. Up next was 'Can't Pass The Bar' which really got the crowd rocking. The track comes from his latest
album, 'Rise & Fall' which was released back in May of last year. Things slowed down a little bit after that for 'It Matters To Her', the song he said was his girlfriends favourite because of one particular line. It was a favourite of the ladies in the crowd as well, as they all sang that line in unison, "When you shut up & listen to what she has to say", when it arrived. What followed was a selection of
his big hits, with a nice medley of songs that inspired him from some of Country's biggest names to bring the set to
a close.
The fans loved every moment. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds and ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Scott McCreery while he performed on the Centre Bell stage.
If you would like to find out more about Scott McCreery and his music, you can do so by following the link to his website. If you would like to see the photographs that I also took of Kane Brown and Dasha, who also performed that night, you can do so by following the respective links. Scott McCreery put on a great high energy show for all of his fans. If you count yourself as being one of them, you don't want to miss his concert when it arrives in a town near you.
