Dominique Way At Théâtre Beanfield

We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here on The Old Blog.  I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do by following the link.  If you'd like an even more direct route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the following linkBack at the Théâtre Beanfield a little while back for an evening that featured two very talented young women perform the songs before a sold-out crown.  Opening the evening was up and coming singer Dominique Way.  She filled the Théâtre Beanfield with an energy all of her own.  It was the energy of a young singer making her first steps towards bigger and better things.  Armed with an acoustic guitar and a smile, she immediately won over the crowd.  I love seeing this moment with young artists.  She also made a return later in the evening to sing “Mr. Right” with Alicia Moffet, a song that they wrote together.  Dominique Way released her first full length album, Sprig, back in 2024 and followed it up this year with an EP called Sprig B-Sides.  I don’t know her touring history, but seeing her reaction to the big crowd before her was great.   I hope she soaked it all in, because that kind of feeling must be awesome.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths.  Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Dominique Way as she performed on the Théâtre Beanfield stage.

If you would like to find out more about Dominique Way and her music, you can do so by following the link to her website.  If you would like to see the photographs I took of Alicia Moffet, who performed later that evening, you can do so by following the link.  Dominique Way is another of those young artists that I have had the privileged of discovering while photographing concerts.  I can't wait to find where her future will lead  Don't you dare miss it when Dominique Way performs in a town near you.
