Rebecca Black At Centre Bell

The month of of July came to an end with a big show at the Centre Bell. From the moment we walked to our shooting spot on the floor in the middle of the fans, you could feel the electricity in the building.  A single note had yet to be played, but the people were buzzing in anticipation for the show that they had been waiting to see.  Part of that buzz was thanks to Rebecca Black, who opened the show.  Rebecca Black had been bearing the weight of being a one-hit wonder for a while now and has been spending the last few years trying to dig herself out of the shadow of a song.  She’s been working hard, trying to grow as an artist.  She certainly carried herself with an air of confidence up on the stage and the crowd reacted very well to her songs.  Rebecca Black continues to follow a dream, even though that dream at one time turned a little bit dark.  You have to admire her persistence as she continues down her chosen path and shares her musical vision with her fans.  Rebecca Black just released her second album, Salvation, earlier this year and maybe this pairing with one of pop’s biggest stars will be a perfect learning environment for her as she continues to work on her craft.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, focal lengths and shutter speeds.  Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Rebecca Black as she performed on the Centre Bell stage.
