Cayenne At Théâtre Corona

Our opening act for the big return to the Théâtre Corona was a young artist by the name of Cayenne.  Hailing from Baie-Comeau, she folllowed her passion to Montreal and was in another group before deciding to go solo.  A new album has been in the works, but she understandably didn't want to release it during COVID-ian times.  The album has been finished though, and should be released in April.  In between all of this, she caught the attention of Sara Dufour, who liked her music so much that she invited her to be the opening act of her recent tour.  Her songs are a bit folky with some Country and Rock to them.  They all seem to come from personal experience, which adds much authenticity to them.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/250sec, ISO 10000 at 70mm.  Here are several more that I took during her performance.

If you'd like to find out more about Cayenne and her music, you can follow the link to her Facebook page for more information, as well as a way to vote for her to hopefully get the opening slot for the festival du Vieux-Quai en Fête in Sept-îles.  To see the other photographs that I took of Sara Dufour, you can follow this link. Things seem to be looking up for Cayenne and the future certainly seems bright.
