Light The Lights

The lack of colour that I mentioned a short while ago is certainly taken a turn.  As we get a little closer to Christmas, more and more lights suddenly appear in the surrounding neighbourhoods.  On our street alone, most of the homes are now decorated with various lights and seasonal characters.  With that in mind, we might as well light up the old blog as well.  I decided to have a little bit of fun with some Christmas lights a while back.  Looking at them from different angles and positions.  There may or may not have been a family gathering going on while I was off in my own little corner taking these shots, but that does sound like the kind of thing that I would do.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/60sec, ISO 100 at 60mm and the two following were taken at f/2.8, 1/80sec, ISO 100 at 60mm and f/4, 1/50sec, ISO 400 at 60mm.  Go out and enjoy the sights.  It will be February soon and the 'blahs' will be right back.
