The headlining musical act to take the stage during the Fête Nationale
festivities taking place at Parc de la Cité in the Ville de Longueuil borough of Saint-Hubert was Kaïn. One of Québec's biggest rock acts from the early 2000's, the band is currently on a farewell tour. Planning to bring a close to their musical chapter. The concert grounds at the Parc-de-la-Cité filled up early. A mix of families and longtime fans hoping to catch one final glimpse of their rock heroes. They certainly got the show they were hoping for. With seven studio albums and several hit singles to chose from, Kaïn treated the crowd to a 22 song set of their biggest hits. The park was rocking well into the night as Kaïn rocked the Fête Nationale to a thundering end. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Kaïn while they performed at the Fête Nationale.
If you'd like to find out more about Kaïn and his music, you can do so by following the link to his website. If you would like to see the photographs of the various politicians, Muhoza Band, Louis-Jean Cormier and Andréanne A. Malette, who all performed during the festivities, you can do so by following the respective links. A big thank you goes out to Maryse Reindeau, the Ville de Longueuil and Longueuil est culture for putting together these shows and for allowing me to shoot them. Merci beaucoup. Kaïn will be touring across Québec this summer. Don't you dare miss it when they visit a town near you.
