The very first musical act to take the stage during the Fête Nationale festivities taking place at Parc St-Marc in Ville de Longueuil was the Muhoza Band. A collective of musicians who first got together while they were in school. Their one mission on this night was to get the people grooving. It didn't take them very long to accomplish that mission. I always find it fun to discover new bands. I had not heard of the Muhoza Band before they were announced for this show. Everything about their performance was great. I was obviously not the only one to feel that way. The crowd cheered after every song and danced the night away. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Muhoza Band while they performed on at the Fête Nationale.
If you would like to find out more about Muhoza Band and their music, you can do so by following the link to his Facebook Page. If you would like to see the photographs of the various politicians, Louis-Jean Cormier, Andréanne A. Malette and Kaïn, who all performed during the festivities, you can do so by following the respective links. A big thank you goes out to Maryse Reindeau of the Ville de Longueuil and Longueuil est culture for putting together these shows and for allowing me to shoot them. Merci beaucoup. The Muhoza Band will be appearing at festivals across Québec this summer. Don't you dare miss it when they visit a town near you.
