I know that the old saying is that "better late than never", but the snowfall we got on Sunday would have been much better appreciated had it happened two weeks ago. We had about 10 centimeters fall from the sky, which is kind of a surprise as I think the weather service had only predicted a three centimeter so we weren't really expecting so much. There were some big smiles on the faces of The Heir Apparent and Crown Prince when they woke up and looked out the window and realized what they were seeing. The other happy couple were our front yard reindeer who might have appreciated the ample amount of grass to graze, but look much better surrounded by snow. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/30sec, ISO 6400 at 70mm and the little close-up below was taken at f/3.2, 1/50sec, ISO 6400 at 190mm. Hopefully you all enjoyed the snow, it seems that there is more of it on the way. Maybe we can reschedule Christmas.
