The Tina Trons At Saint-Lambert En Fête

Saturday night was retro night at Saint-Lambert En Fête as we were transported back to the 1980's.  Sadly, that didn't mean I found myself with a full head of hair and 60 less pounds.  Regardless, a good time was on the schedule and The Tina Trons hit the stage and brought the kind of energy that only music from the 80's can do.  They're a cover band that plays all of the biggest hits from the 80's and pretty much fits the definition of party band.  They were full of energy on the stage and did their best to bring a Saint-Lambert crowd that loves their lawn chairs out of their seats.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/125sec, ISO 1600 at 70mm.  Here are several more photographs of their performance.

Onefortyseven At Saint-Lambert En Fête

As previously mentioned, to go along with some big name headliners, Saint-Lambert En Fête makes room in their schedule for some young up and coming groups as well.  Such is the case of Onefortyseven, an indie pop style group who shared several of their original songs from a soon to be released album.  Everything flowed very smoothly when you consider that the guitarist also doubles as keyboard player and the drummer is the singer.  Not always an easy combo to pull off, but they pulled it off with great success.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/200sec, ISO 100 at 70mm.  Here are a few more photographs that I took of their performance.

Coeur de Pirate At Saint-Lambert En Fête

The Friday night headliner at the 2019 edition of Saint-Lambert en Fête was acclaimed singer-songwriter Coeur de Pirate.  A 10 year veteran of the Québec and international scene, Coeur de Pirate, Beatrice to her friends and family, had the Saint-Lambert crowd swaying in their seats as she treated us to a greatest hits selection of her discography, as well as dazzling with some interpretative dance moves while on the stage.  This was one of the final shows of the tour for her fourth and most recent album, 'En cas de tempête, ce jardin sera fermé', which was also nominated for a 2019 Juno for Francophone Album of the Year.  I'm sure there will be more music to come.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/1000sec, ISO 6400 at 150mm.  Here are several more photographs of her performance.

Jerome 50 At Saint-Lambert En Fête

When it comes down to it, music, and life,  should be about having fun.  That's the message that Jerome 50 spreads in his folk style rock songs which are about his 'just chill' philosophy.  While on the Saint-Lambert En Fête stage, he was singing songs from his latest album, 'La hiérarchill', which is kind of his 'chill' manifesto.  The young kids in the audience seemed to adore his songs, as well as the free Mr. Freeze's that his mascot, Jerome 49, handed out to the crowd.  He even invited three of them, who had asked before the show began, up on the stage to dance with him as his set was coming to an end.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/400sec, ISO 1600 at 90mm.  Here are several more that I took during his performance.
