Vincent Vallières at Festin Culturel Brossard

We have reached the end of my blog updates for the musical performances at Brossard's annual Festin Culturel.  Unless that is you are reading this from a time other than when I was updating them in which case you should keep scrolling down the main page as you will find photographs from all of the other artists who performed as well. This final update covers the performance of Vincent Vallières.  I first found out about his music due to the fact that he comes from the same region of Quebec as my family, the Eastern Townships.  I have also seen him a few times before, during the times before I began bringing my camera to concerts.  He released his first album back in 1999 and really climbed to fame with the release of the song 'On va s'aimer encore' in 2009.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/320sec, ISO 3200 at 200mm and here are several more photographs that I took during his performance.

And with that, the evening of music in Brossard came to an end.  The fun thing about these multi group performances is that you get a nice diversity of music over the course of an evening. The bad thing is that for an obsessive photographer like myself, you end up getting home with so many photographs t hat it takes three days to go through and edit everything.
