Campbell & Johnston At Festival International De Jazz De Montréal

We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here on The Old Blog.  I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do by following the link.  If you'd like an even more direct route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the following link.  The 46^th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal has come to an end.  It can’t be considered anything but a huge success.  The streets of Montréal rang in harmony for 10 days with shows featuring the best of the genre and others.  Not to mention an out of this world performance by a pair of time travelling aliens.  It will be talked about for years.  During my first night downtown, a quick walk down the street allowed me to catch the final songs of a set from the duo of Campbell & Johnston.  Hailing from Halifax, the duo of Christine Campbell and Blake Johnston, and their backing musicians, roared through the couple of songs that I was able to catch.  I got to hear a couple of tracks from their most recent album, 2024's Paisley Hearts, before they finished with an explosive cover of “With A Little Help From My Friends”.  The Beatles would be pleased and Joe Cocker would have been astounded.  I will be digging to find more from them.  Certainly others will be doing the same.  It was that good of a performance.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths.  Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Campbell & Johnston while they performed at the Festival International De Jazz De Montréal.
