We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert
photographs up here on The Old Blog. I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs
can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media,
which you can do by following the link. If you'd like an even more direct
route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using
the following
link. My first headline event at the Festival International De Jazz De Montréal was a Canadian musical legend. After taking in a couple of shows, I was then
off to Salle-Wilfrid-Pelletier for a performance from one of Canada’s best
known jazz performers, Diana Krall.
Before embarking on a European tour, Diana Krall treated the people of
Montréal to two shows at the festival this year.
Ushered on stage along with her two other band-mates, Diana took a seat at her piano.
After a prolonged ovation, the crowd then took their seats as the band opened the evenings show
with “Almost Like Being In Love”. We photographed the show from a fair distance and not for a very long time. I didn't walk away with a ton of photographs, but the memories of the performance will certainly remain with me. Diana Krall remains one of the best pianists in the land. Being on hand for her performance was an
honour. All of the photographer were taken at f/3.2 while using various shutter speeds ad ISO settings. They were all taken at 200mm. Here are the other photographs I took of Diana Krall during her Festival International De Jazz De Montréal performance.
If you would like to find out more about Diana Krall and their music, you can do so by following the link to her website. Many thanks to the Festival InternationalDe Jazz De Montréal and Christopher Gonda of V13 Media for getting me a pass to cover the event. It is very much appreciated. Diana Krall will be performing several dates this Summer. Don't you dare miss it when she performs in a city near you.
