Spiritbox At Centre Bell

We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here on The Old Blog.  I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do by following the link.  If you'd like an even more direct route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the following link.  Second on the bill during a big show at Centre Bell in Montreal back in June was Spiritbox.  As the lights darkened, the band hit the stage to a massive roar.  The crowd was jolted to life as a harsh white light flooded the stage.  A rocking shot of metal shook the building as the band opened their set with “Black Rainbow”.  A track off of their most recent album, Tsunami Sea, which was released back in March of last year.  Singer Courtney LaPlante’s voice is a weapon.  Like a Siren from Greek mythology, her voice draws you closer.  Then her scream crashes down upon you.  We were shooting from back at the soundboard, but it hit still hit with huge impact.  A knock-out punch to the ears if ever ther was one.  The blue background added an atmospheric touch to “Perfect Soul”.  Spiritbox's set featured several artistic flares of colour on the video wall behind them.  It really added to the performance.  They definitely left their mark.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths.  Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Spiritbox as they performed on the Centre Bell stage.
