The second day of the Longueuil Ribfest came to a close with a great mix of local musical talent. Festival regulars, The Roots Band, hit the stage that they do several times every year for the festival. They've been joined by some big guest stars over the years and this year their special guest was Jeff Smallwood. A veteran of the music industry, he has shared his guitar work with huge names known around the World such as Luba, Roch Voisine, Richard Seguin, Gerry Boulet, Lady Gaga, Bryan Adams and Celine Dion. He opened the performance with a solo performance of his own songs, and some other famous ones that he has performed on, before being joined by the great Roots Band, and collective of musicians from the area that get together every year for the festival. It was a true treat for my ears, as well as all of those who stuck out a chilly early June evening, to enjoy the show. The first photograph was taken at f/3.2, 1/320sec, ISO 400 at 53mm.
