Mute Choir At Studio TD

I've had the opportunity to experience all kinds of interesting musical acts since getting the chance to photograph concerts.  The latest of those being Mute Choir from Toronto.  They were opening the evening over at Le Studio TD on Saturday night and got to play before a very large crowd.  Their self-described sound is a mix of alt-rock, psychedelia, grunge, post-punk, funk, industrial electronica, hip hop and pop.  That is quite the musical pallet to choose from, and results in the listener always being on their toes, not knowing what they will be hit with come the next note.  It sounds like one heck of an audio mess, but makes for an unforgettable musical experience.  Their debut album, Silent Conversations, was released back in 2020 so you can imagine they will have some new material coming out soon.  The first photograph was taken at f/3.2 1/80sec, ISO 12800 at 44mm.  Here are some more photographs that I took of their performance.

If you'd like to find out more about Mute Choir and their music, you can do so by following the link to their website.  If you'd like to see the photographs that I took of The Warning later that evening, you can do so by following the link.  It's important to stand out, especially in such a large industry that is music.  Mute Choir was certainly something I hadn't heard before, and I'm looking forward to hearing them again.
