We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here
on The Old Blog. I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this
would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be
seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do
by following the link. If you'd like an even more direct route to my
photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the
following link. It was a night of new beginnings at the MTelus a while back. Our opening act, Laraw, was making her very first appearance the the historic venue where many musical giants have already walked. We are witnessing the opening steps of Laraw
on her journey, and they were certainly memorable. Pressed against the
stage curtain, she treated the Montreal crowd to some wonderful
musical
moments. Her bio mentions that she
expresses herself through the universal language of music. She certainly expressed herself to the sold
out crowd who really enjoyed her set. I particularly
enjoyed “Heartbreak Club”, a track off of J'ai quitté le Heartbreak Club, an EP which she released back in March. Laraw has also released several singles to go along with that in s short period of time. Perhaps a sign that a debut full length album is on the calendar to be scheduled soon. In a short time, she made a big
impression. Keep your eyes and ears open
for her. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Laraw while she performed on the MTelus stage.

Laraw At MTelus
To find out more about Laraw and her music, you can follow the link to her website. If you would like to see the photographs that I took of Coeur de Pirate, who performed later that night, you can do so by following the link. Laraw has a great sound and is sure to continue to grow as an artist. She's already off to a great start. Don't you dare miss it when Laraw performs in a town near you.
