We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here
on The Old Blog. I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this
would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be
seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do
by following the link. If you'd like an even more direct route to my
photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the
following link. The Place Bell in Laval hosted a country music jamboree a few weeks back and opening the show was rising country music superstar, Kashus Culpepper. He had been
to Montreal earlier this year as part of the Lasso Country Music Festival. His performance had gotten rave reviews and I
was
looking forward to this one. We got
a tasty preview of his debut album, Act I, which will be released early next
year. Kashus Culpepper's soulful voice filled PlaceBell from the opening notes of “Believe” and held our attention until he finished his set with "Southern Man". He didn’t move around much, but he certainly got the crowd moving with his great songs. Even from the back, I could see all of the fans in front having a great time Kashus Culpepper more than
lived up to the musical expectations. It was a rather short set, so hopefully we'll get a bigger taste of his musical talent during a future visit. All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths. Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Kashus Culpepper while he performed up on the Place Bell stage.
If you would like to find out more about Kashus Culpepper and his music, you can do so by following the link to this website. If you would like to see the photographs that I took of Tyler Braden and Darius Rucker, you can do so by following the respective links. Kashus Culpepper sounds great and obviously had a bright future in front of him. Don't you dare miss if when he performs in a town near you.
