Pelch At Théâtre Beanfield

We're a little bit backed up on getting my concert photographs up here on The Old Blog.  I suppose we will catch up at some point, but this would be a good time to remind you that my concert photographs can be seen in a much more timely manner by visiting V13Media, which you can do by following the link.  If you'd like an even more direct route to my photographs, you can visit my personal page over there but using the following link.  Is there a better way to end the week than with some good music?  I can't think of one, especially when that night of music takes place in Montreal's awesome Théâtre Beanfield.  Opening the night was a rising your local star who goes by the name of Pelch.  He is already armed with a great collection of songs, including “Way Too Young”, which Pelch chose to open his set with.  “On My Way”, from his latest EP, Power Of Now, got a great reaction.  He followed that up with a pretty cool improve session. Pelch made up a song on the spot using words shouted from the audience.  He got a loud cheer every time one of the suggested words was used.  It was a pretty clever way to get some audience participation.  Pelch released an new EP, Power Of Now, earlier this year to go along with a series of singles.  One can only hope that a full length album release should be somewhere on the horizon.  All of the photographs were taken at f/3.2 while using various different shutter speeds, ISO settings and focal lengths.  Here are the rest of the photographs that I took of Pelch while he performed on the Théâtre Beanfield stage.

If you would like to find out more about Pelch and his music, you can do so by following the link to his website.  If you would like to see the photographs that I took of Jonathan Roy, who performed later that night, you can do so by following the link.  This was a great performance from someone I am sure we’ll be hearing more from in the future.  Pelch has several shows scheduled around Quebec well in to 2026.  Don't you dare miss it when Pelch performs in a town near you.
