It was originallty scheduled to take place back in May, but rainy weather meant that the annual Saint-Lambert Classic Car Exhibition, which is part of the annual Saint-Lambert En Fête activities, got moved back to this past weekend. We'll get to some photographs of the cars eventually, says the guy who still has photos from the last five exhibitions sitting untouched on his hard drive, but up first we'll take care of the entertainment. On stage was the Baby Boomer's Band. They also appeared at the event last year and I was glad to see them again as I very much liked their performance. As luck would have it, they were very happy to see me as well as they really liked the photographs that I took of them at the show last year. I'm not really one to toot my own horn, but it's always nice when someone else toots it for me. They played a selection of old time rock'n'roll numbers, everything from Elvis Presley and Little Richard to Chuck Berry and The Stray Cats. The perfect set of tunes to fit a classic car exhibition.
