Damien Robitaille in Longueuil

The latest of the series of summer concerts taking place in the city of Longueuil, as part of the Longueuil est Culture series, took place Wednesday night in Parc Fernand-Bouffard.  On stage was Damien Robitaille to entertain the masses, despite the ever threatening sky.  While the rain did come down a few times, it was never very hard, just enough to dampen Your Friendly Neighbourhood Photographer, though not my spirits.  Having released six albums, the most recent, 'Univers parallèles', having been released in 2017, he had a vast repetoire to chose from.  He was joined on stage by his fellow musicians, Marie-Christine Depestre and Fabienne Gilbert, to sing several of his songs, as well as a totally original number created on the spot inspired by city itself.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/100sec, ISO 3200 at 120mm.  Here are several more photographs that I took of the performance.

The more of these concerts I attend, the larger these posts seem to be getting.  There are only a few more left so I guess I'm trying to make the most of them.  Despite the weather, it was a great show.  To find out more about Damien Robitaille and his music, don't forget to follow the link.
