My latest musical outing saw me return to the Église de Saint-Hubert for a vocal performance by a group called Les Mashleys. They were performing on the steps of the church as part of the continuing summer series of concerts under the Longueuil est culture banner. Les Mashleys take parts of popular songs and mash them together to create a series of memorable musical moments that feature a little bit of everything for everyone. Their band name is also indicative of their style. Taking the works 'medley' and 'mash-up' to create 'Mashleys'. It was a very entertaining evening and kept me on my toes as a photographer. All of the high spots of certain songs that I thought would be coming would end up not being there as the next part of the medley would begin. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/640sec, ISO 1600 at 123mm. Here are several more photographs that I took of the performance.

Once again, I'd like to take a moment to mention the awesome lighting crew who dressed up the front of the church with all kind of colourful designs. It really added to the atmosphere of the show. To find out more about Les Mashleys and their music, don't forget to visit their website.
