The main act of the 2019
Festin Culturel
in Brossard was a tribute to the late Bob Walsh, who was one of the
biggest names in Québec when it comes to the Blues. Joining his band on
stage were several different singers who all had a connection to the
legendary Bluesman. The first singer to take the stage was
Martin Goyette.
Beginning his career in the late 1990's, he quickly rose through the
ranks of local Blues greats, winning several awards and performing at
just about every Blues and Jazz Festivals in the Country. He was the
first of many guest singers, though if you're not reading this as the
site is being updated, you haven't seen those photos yet. The first
photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/80sec, ISO 3200 at 70mm. Here are
several more photographs of his performance.

You've probably been seeing that last photo an awful lot on the blog. It was taken at the end of the show when all the singers were on stage and I thought it would make a fine end to each update. To find out more about
Martin Goyette and his music, don't forget to follow the link to his website.
