Though Loud only began his career as a solo rap artist in 2017, one could arguably say that he has already risen to the top of the Québec rap scene, and probably close to the top in the rest of Canada as well. He certainly was popular at Saint-Lambert en Fête, drawing over 12,000 people in what was the largest first night crowd for the event, and probably one of the largest overall in the history of the festival. In the short time that he as been performing, Loud has already won a SOCAN Songwriting Prize in 2017, a Félix for Hip Hop Artist of the Year and the Juno for Francophone Album of the Year for his album 'Une année record'. His most recent album, 'Tout ça pour ça', was released earlier this year and has already been listed for a Polaris. Quite the start to a career. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/80sec, ISO 6400 at 115mm. Here are several more photographs that I took of his performance.

I know the common person will see that there were several photographs in this update, but it was kind of difficult to get them. The stage was often very dark so I had to play around with some very high ISO levels and once there, I decided to play around with some silhouette style shots as well for something different. Difficult, but very fun to experiment. All with 12 thousand people standing behind me. To find out more about Loud and his music, don't forget to visit his Facebook page.
