It was another musical evening in Saint-Lambert for the latest in their 'Les jeudis de la place' concert series at Parc du Village. On the stage this week was Misses Satchmo, a six piece band that specializes in Swing music from the 1920's and 30's. Formed in 2008, they've released four albums. The most recent, 'Vian dans les dents', was released last year and celebrates the works of French artist and musician Boris Vian. They played several of those songs, as well as many of their own originals, during their concert on Thursday night. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/250sec, ISO 800 at 105mm. Here are several more photographs that I took during their performance.

It was a fun show, with each member disguised in different outfits as part of the show. From the traffic cone guitarist to the disgruntled bride, they were as colourful as their music. To find out more about Misses Satchmo and their music, don't forget to visit their website.
