Who knows, had genetics not robbed me of my hair, I might have ended up in a band. Okay, that probably would not have happened, but seeing as how 5 Roses formed due to a chance meeting in a barbershop, maybe I would have had a shot. They play a little mix of pop and country, in the same vein of the new country artists that inspired them. They played a mix of those songs that inspire them, as well as several of their own tunes and really got the crowd into their performance. One thing I've learned over my years at the Greenfield Park celebration, Shania Twain always gets a big big reaction, and after 5 Roses played one of her songs, the crowd was in their back pocket. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/500sec, ISO 400 at 70mm. Here are several more photographs that I took as they were on stage.

If there's one thing I like, it's lots of guitars, and this band had three of them. They really got the crowd rocking and put on a heck of a show. To find out more about 5 Roses, don't forget to visit their website by following the link.
