My full week continued on Thursday night as I found myself at Petit Campus in Montreal for a concert. The first band to take the stage was Era 9, a local group with a unique sound that they create by combining elements of hard rock, hip hop and EDM to form a genre they have called Trap Rock. Rather uniquely, they also have their own hot sauce, which they sell at their shows. I guess that is one way to add some spice to the merch table. Bad jokes aside, they had a pretty cool look and sound. I had grabbed a spot near the side of the stage, and with no pit there was no moving around as I need to stay close as two other bands were going to be playing, but I still got some cool shots. The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/160sec, ISO 6400 at 24mm. Here are some more that I took of their performance.

And with that, a hot and steamy evening of music was underway. To find out more about Era 9, don't forget to visit their website by following the link.
