Christian Marc Gendron In Greenfield Park

The final live performance on Canada Day in Greenfield Park was Christian Marc Gendron.  He began his career as a session musician, appearing on over 40 albums by artists such as Marc Dupré, Annie Villeneuve and France D'Amour.  He was also a main performer in many of their concerts as well.  It was in 2014 when he released his first solo album that he took the front of the stage, where he remains to this day.  He brought his show, Piano Man Experience, to Greenfield Park for Canada Day.  He tickled the ivory to songs by Billy Joel, Queen, and Elton John, as well as some of his over original compositions as well.  Joined on the stage by his wife Manon, a trooper who sang her heart out while expecting a child in the coming months, this duo put on quite a performance.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/50sec, ISO 1600 at 42mm.  Here are several more photographs of the performance.

Like all good concerts, this one ended with a standing ovation.  I believe a standing ovation is due to my trusty camera as well.  The made 9 musical acts in two days. It was incredibly busy, but so much fun.  Don't forget to check out the photos of the other musical acts that played.  Les Jacks, 5 Roses and DJ Miss Shelton.  As for Christian Marc Gendron, don't forget to find out more about him at his website.  One final message, thank you very much to Longueuil est culture for getting me a photo pass for the event.  It was much more fun to freely roam around the stage area rather than being confined to the crowd.  Thanks once again, hopefully I get to do it again next year.
