My second festival pass of the holiday weekend saw me in Greenfield Park, photographing the musical acts on hand to celebrate Canada Day. The first group to take the stage was Les Jacks. The band formed while a group of friends were on a trip to Hawaii and really enjoyed the smooth summer style music they heard. They brought this musical inspiration back with them and formed a band with songs that seem to fit perfectly with the Summer season. They added a few cover tunes into their set, and though the crowd was a little sparse, they must have been off digesting their ceremonial cupcakes, Les Jacks made up for it with uplifting tunes and a great attitude. The first photograph was taken at f/5.6, 1/125sec, ISO 400 at 142mm. Here are a couple more photographs that I took during their performance.

Their concert was a nice breezy way to ease into an evening of music. To find out more about Les Jacks, don't forget to follow the link to visit their website.
