Savage After Midnight At Petit Campus

The second band of the bill for my Thursday night of music was Savage After Midnight.  Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, they made their way up here to blow the roof off of the Petit Campus, and they came pretty close to doing so.  Combining several of their original songs from the debut EP '11:59', which was released this past March, with a couple of cover tunes, including a very rocked out version of Madonna's hit 'Like A Prayer', Savage After Midnight had the band all riled up and ready for more by the end of their short set.  The first photograph was taken at f/2.8, 1/400sec, ISO 6400 at 24mm.  Here are several more photographs that I took during their time on stage.

This was one of those "wow, I really like these guys" moments that is a big part of the fun with concert photography.  I had never heard them before, but they walked out with at least one new fan.  Based on the crowd reaction, that number was probably much higher.  To find out more about Savage After Midnight, don't forget to visit their website for more information.
